Just a couple weekends ago I traveled to Bar Harbor to put on a surprise party for one of my dearest friends to celebrate her graduation from The College of the Atlantic. The day of the ceremony continued the colorful chaos of decorating around the lawn of her parent’s home. The yard was dressed in vintage Chinese lanterns, a homemade torn fabric banner, ball jar lanterns, lights, lights and more lights! I made a chanterelle mushroom pinata which we enjoyed at the end of the evening. It was a magical day filled with great food, friends and celebration!
