While visiting my sister in Boston this past spring I spotted baggu for jcrew and fell in love. This past weekend my sweet sister surprised me with the brilliant blue and retro jade baggu bags! Grocery shopping has never been so much fun. Tonight I arrived home from the store just in time for Blair to see her gifts in action. I highly reccomend these bright and versitle bags for your summer adventures whether they go with you to the farmer’s market, beach or yoga class!
All of the stationery is up in the shop tonight!
Here is a little mix of the last 24 hours…
Today after work I did a little shopping, picking out some fun tissue paper to create decorations for my sister’s graduation party. I also picked up some beautiful stationery to add to my collection. I absolutely love the colors of rifle paper co.’s cards, the tactile hand of the letterpressed and screenprinted cards.
Last night I had dinner with my sister and father and while I was in my father’s basement I discovered amongst all of his lobstering gear this little arrow. He told me the stories from when he worked on a swordfish boat and how this arrow was used at the tip of the fishing harpoon. I love the history of the artifact but my favorite part is how it has oxidized over the years. The last couple photos are of a scarf I just recently rediscovered from a trip I took with my boyfriend a couple of summers ago. We were out on a motorcycle ride and discovered this incredible antique barn in the country. After at least an hour exploring I found this vintage souvenir scarf and couldn’t pass it up! I decided today that I want to figure out a way to frame it so I can hang it in my studio.

Stop by for the first peak at the greeting cards in my shop!
I have two more colored sets on their way as well!
We went to a friend’s wedding and for our card I painted a little cake with a bride and groom on top with color and pattern inspiration from their wedding invitation. The best part was I guessed that the groom would be in a gray suit and he was! A fun celebration even with the rain drops!
is almost here! I am putting the finishing touches on everything and will be launching the stationery suite in my shop later this week!
My sister Blair just graduated from Simmons with a degree in business management and entrepreneurship. I am so proud of her and excited to see where her talents take her! Here are a few pictures of the day and our walk around the city. (P.S. Does Blair’s dress look familliar?!!)
