boston

This past weekend I went to Boston to visit with friends and my sister. We ventured out into the subzero weather on Friday to enjoy a Japanese Noodle Bar for lunch and shopping up and down Newbury Street. To work up an appetite for dinner we went to The Garment District, a warehouse with two huge floors filled with racks of vintage treasures and an incredible collection of costumes. Below {60’s & 70’s blouses, vintage ties, boxers, quilted skirt in a neon repeat pattern} (Dinner was at a sweet little Algerian restaurant in Cambridge.) Saturday we went to a Russian market, a little european bakery for gelato and hit the road just as dusk fell. I couldn’t help myself with snapping a few long exposure shots. (cheesy I know)

STUDIO UPDATE: Tonight I worked in the studio throwing some white paint up on the walls. The last sheet of homosote was hung on the wall with a couple vintage postcards, another coat of paint to come and the big move in!
